My advisor, mentor and friend James Nearing wrote an excellent book of maths for physics students. He wanted it to always be available for free on the Internet, however the U Miami physics dept server is no more so here it is for you to enjoy. It is quite good. You can also buy a copy from Dover publishing from Amazon

Perl Student's t test 'source' - I had a java and perl version of the above algorithm implemented in an online Student's T Test program, but this current web server, and I suppose modern web browsers, support neither, so here is the code for avid programmers who may want to translate it to something else. maybe I'll redo it as javascript or node.js (or Haskell) some day
